We conceded a last minute equaliser to surrender a 2 goal lead at the hands of Alva.

We started the game brightly and were on the front foot for most of the first half and took the lead 13 minutes in, a great diagonal switch from RD found Boab on the right hand side his chest inside found Lewis and his cross was bundled home by the on rushing Johnny Chalk to give us the lead.

The game died down slightly with both sides have chances, Alva responding well but not really creating much, a fine save from Ben from a free kick the most notable chance.

We managed to grab a second just before the break, after the ball broke in midfield to Danny, Boab cut the ball back to Jamsey and his looping cross wasn't dealt with by the keeper which left Gregor to fire home on the half volley.

Into the second half and Alva started brightly, a couple of shots going just passed the post and Ben pulling out an unbelievable save to his right when it seemed the ball was goal bound.

Alva did manage to pull a goal back however, poor positioning by the Dunblane midfield and defence gave the 8 space to bring the ball down and slot the ball past Ben.

The game was end to end with Dunblane trying to get the killer 3rd goal and Alva pressing for the equaliser but it was the latter which leveled things up going into the 94th minute.

After a Dunblane attack broke down a long ball was sent up towards the Alva attack, after the ball was missing and bounced around the edge of the box, an Alva player picked out a looping effort in off the crossbar to level the game.

The result means we do it all again at Dunblane High in a replay.

Although we were 2-0 up we didn't do enough to merit to win the game, with two errors costing us on the day, we will pick ourselves up and be ready for the replay in a weeks time.
