It was a weekend packed with drama for DSC — even if the weather tried its best to steal the spotlight.
The Ammies battled to a 2–2 draw in their WoS Cup clash, only to be heartbreakingly knocked out on penalties after a spirited performance.
Up north, the 2008s saw their Scottish Cup tie in Aberdeen postponed, with the showdown pushed to next Saturday. They’ll be itching to get going after the long trip was put on hold. (Its a shame that visiting Hearts couldn't deliver a Central Belt win on their behalf today).
There was better news in Cumbernauld, where the 21s delivered a strong, confident win to keep their momentum rolling.
Unfortunately, the elements struck again as the 2009s and 2011 United fixtures were both postponed.
Plenty still to play for — and next weekend is already shaping up to be a big one for the club.
