It was another action-packed weekend for Dunblane Soccer Club, with the youth and adult teams flying the flag across multiple leagues and age groups. The children's section break continues so they are filling their time with some fundraising to keep out of trouble.
The Warriors scored their second win of the season with a 5–2 away win over Craigneuk Progress in the Appin Warriors League One. Unfortunately Dunblane Ams couldn't mirror this win when they were held to a draw with Forth and Kerse. The Ams are still 4 points clear at the top of their league but they'll feel the heat from opposing teams with games in hand over the festive season.
Across the youth section, the 2009s were in sensational form with a remarkable 14–1 victory away at Carbrain, and the 2011 Strollers team battled out a 1-1 draw against Glasgow Harp whilst fielding injuries and illness stricken squad members.
From convincing wins to valuable lessons, it was a weekend that captured everything Dunblane SC is about — development and determination.. oh and watch out for successes off the pitch from the 2014 Cobras team....
